My feature-length documentary, "Clay, Creativity, and the Comeback" is finally getting the long awaited "official" premiere and re-release that was cut short by all the cancellations in 2020.
For the first time, the story about how Medalta Potteries and the industrial ruins of Medicine Hat's abandoned clay district were saved from demolition will premiere at the Monarch Theatre at the end of the month. Screenings will take place at 7 PM on April 30, May 1, and May 2, 2026.
Featuring original interviews, unseen archival materials, and a story told by the incredible volunteers who stepped up to make it happen - this is one of those movies that will make you look at what's in your own backyard a little differently.
