From Gulfport to Biloxi, the Mississippi Gulf Coast has the shortest stretch of coastline of any of the Gulf States. Filled with beaches, lighthouses, casinos, and a few welcoming tourist traps, this is a rather beautiful part of Mississippi to stop, put your feet in the sand, and catch a sunset.
Located in Ucluelet on the western edge of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, the Canadian Princess Lodge is a beautiful property with stunning harbour views. This hotel was once the home of the popular Canadian Princess ship, an icon of Ucluelet since 1979, which was removed in the fall of 2016 when the property was sold. These images showcase the Canadian Princess just a few months before the sale of the hotel and the removal of the old ship from the harbour.
Originally built in the late 1800s, the Woolfrey House was donated to the City of Medicine Hat and relocated to Echo Dale Regional Park in 1986. This historic home in Medicine Hat, Alberta has since became a landmark of the Echo Dale Farm, alongside the old barn and Ajax Mine. The interior has been beautifully restored to showcase the living conditions on the prairies at the end of the nineteenth century (ie. no electricity or indoor plumbing).
