Launched in 1854, the USS Constellation is an American warship that served during the African Slave Trade Patrol (to capture slave ships) and in the American Civil War fighting for the North. Now located in Baltimore, Maryland's inner harbor, the USS Constellation operates as a museum ship as part of the Historic Ships in Baltimore.
