Alberta Legislature Building: Part 1

I was wandering around downtown Edmonton, Alberta for a few hours before I finally made my way to the Alberta Legislature Building. The sun was starting to set and it was bringing out the natural colour of the stone. It was an incredibly peaceful evening. Kids were playing in the wading pools and fountains, couples were walking along the plaza, and families were relaxing in the park. In the meantime, I was capturing these images of the capital before returning in the morning to take the tour.

Hoodoos Near Drumheller, Alberta

This badlands setting is iconic Alberta, and it's a pretty easy spot to explore if you find yourself driving through the river valley near Drumheller. I stopped off to grab a few pictures and watch all of the people scale the hills. It's obvious that the hoodoos here are pretty popular, but I decided I'd take things to the next level by continuing on to Dinosaur Provincial Park.
