A love the architecture of Palm Springs, California. Many of the mid-century modern structures have been preserved and revitalized here, giving this desert community a distinct look that showcases the optimism and imagination of the 1950's and 1960's.
One of the many reasons I love the California desert is that I come across something new on every road trip. Coyote's Flying Saucer Retrievals and Repairs was an odd and entertaining roadside attraction I photographed on my way to Desert View Tower. Only a few miles from the Mexican border, this stop had aliens, saucers, and a few different scenarios on display. I've come to expect nothing less when exploring the California desert. More here.
